2024 DESIGN CHALLENGE

Spotlighting the binnadang culture.

Criteria

Entries will be rated by select judges based on the guides below.

• 20% Binnadang. Overall embodiment of binnadang documented through ​the written/video recording of the product story.
  
• 25% Uniqueness and innovation. The entry/ies have innovative concept ​and wow factor.
• 25% Quality. Entry/ies are creative, durable and well constructed. It ​functions as inteded without easily falling apart.
• 20% Use of materials. The use of local weaves and/or local materials has ​significant impact in the overall output.
• 10% Product Story. Entry includes details and important information about ​the product.
  

Timeframe

• Pre-registration: until June 9, 2024
  
• Submission of Application and requirements: July 15, 2024
  
• Creation of entries (July onwards)
• Submission of actual entries (Rescheduled: October 1-7, 2024 at the ​nearest DTI Provincial Office)
  
• Showcase, judging, and awarding of prizes will be done as part of the Fiesta ​Haraya (October*)
